Contain your links-A case of GA tag implementation
Taking forward the issue presented in the last post. I would like to present another instance with the maintenance of Google Analytics tags. Here the problem was due to negligence in the initial stages of GA tag implementation. The result was similar, misleading metrics that presented a completely false picture about the client’s website traffic.
The problem
The client is a leading bank in US, with over 119 years of experience in providing banking services, specializing in home loans and wealth management. We handle the Web Analytics reporting, Analysis and Implementation services for their website. I came across a particular issue related to the data shown in GA. There was certain abnormal data that was being shown in the client’s Google Analytics account.
